2. Double-Blind Peer Review (Revision Check)
In this lab, you will review a peer’s revised midterm paper. Your goal is to evaluate whether the authors addressed prior feedback and to provide an updated overall assessment.
-
Step 1: Read the previous reviews first, then skim the earlier version (if provided) to understand the main concerns raised.
-
Step 2: Review the revised paper carefully and check whether the authors made meaningful changes that respond to the feedback.
-
Step 3: Write a short narrative review (one concise paragraph or two) describing what improved, what remains unresolved (if anything), and your overall assessment of the current draft.
-
Step 4: Provide an updated overall score or recommendation based on the revised version (not the original submission).
-
Step 5: Keep your comments constructive, specific, and professional, and do not include any identifying information (maintain double-blind format).
